The Monark 881E rehab trainer performs as either an arm or leg ergometer, making it especially useful for people who have been hospitalized and require rehabilitation based on reliable measuring methods.

The 881E includes a pair of crank arms that adjust both vertically and horizontally ie in length and angle of crank, along with accessory handles for the hands and pedals with straps for the feet.

Once your preferred accessory is installed, you can either rehabilitate by yourself in the home or allow a physiotherapist to prescribe an exercise program without supervision. As a lower-body ergometer, the rehab trainer is ideal for people who are trying to work themselves back into shape after a knee or leg injury, while the upper body orientation creates an effective upper body workout for paraplegics, amputees, and other people who suffer from physical handicaps.

The electronic display, meanwhile, offers a host of measurables, including pedal revolutions per minute (RPM), total pedal revolutions, and time in minutes and seconds.
