Shipping & Delivery
Commercial machines ship by freight, not parcel — here's exactly how it works, what each service level includes, and what to do the day the truck arrives.
Processing time vs. transit time
Your total delivery window is processing time + transit time. They are two different clocks, and each product page shows its own processing estimate.
Processing time
How long before your order leaves our warehouse. New, in-stock items typically process in 2–7 business days. Remanufactured machines take longer — commonly 3–5 weeks — because your unit is completing its rebuild, finish and QC testing before it's crated.
Transit time
Time on the road once shipped. Small parcels arrive in 1–6 business days. Freight to the lower 48 states typically runs 2–14 business days for curbside service; delivery levels that include scheduling and assembly add roughly 3–7 days for appointment coordination.
Planning around an opening date? Tell us on the order or contact us first — we can confirm realistic arrival windows for your ZIP code and, for facilities, sequence multiple machines onto one truck.
Freight delivery, explained
Most gym equipment is far too heavy for FedEx or UPS. Machines ship by LTL (less-than-truckload) freight: your equipment is bolted to a wooden crate or pallet, consoles are protected with plywood, and the whole unit is stretch-wrapped and strapped before it's loaded.
- Delivery appointment: the freight carrier calls to schedule a delivery window — someone 18+ must be present to receive and sign.
- Liftgate service: freight trailers sit about 4 feet off the ground. A liftgate lowers your crate to street level and is included on our residential freight deliveries; commercial addresses with a loading dock don't need one.
- Access matters: a standard delivery requires access for a 24-foot box truck or semi. Gravel roads, steep drives or tight cul-de-sacs? Mention it when ordering so we can plan.
- Items under ~150 lb (accessories, some recovery gear) ship as regular parcels instead.
Delivery service levels
Choose the level that matches how much lifting you want to do. Freight costs depend on the machine and destination, so service-level pricing is quoted per order at checkout or by our team.
| Included | Curbside | Threshold / garage | Room of choice | Full assembly & install |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Delivered to your address | Yes — at the curb | Yes | Yes | Yes |

Room-of-choice and installation crews need door widths, step counts and a clear path in advance — we'll collect those details after you order. Install crews are not permitted to plug in or demo machines where doing so would affect warranty validity.
Residential vs. commercial delivery
Residential addresses
Liftgate and delivery appointment are included on freight shipments. Measure your narrowest doorway and count the steps to the equipment's destination before choosing a service level — treadmills typically need a 30–36″ clear path.
Commercial addresses
Deliveries to businesses with a dock or forklift are the least expensive option. No dock? We'll quote liftgate service. For multi-unit facility orders we consolidate machines onto one truck and can schedule installation floor-by-floor.
Delivery inspection & damage claims
Freight damage is rare — but the five minutes you spend at the truck protect you completely.Inspect before you sign. Your signature on the delivery receipt is your confirmation of the condition the freight arrived in.
- Inspect the crate
Walk around the shipment. Photograph any punctures, crushed corners, tilted crates or torn wrap before it comes off the truck.
- Note it on the receipt
Minor issue? Write "shipping damage" next to your signature and accept. Major damage? Write "major shipping damage," refuse the delivery, and photograph everything.
- Contact us within 48 hours
Send photos to sales@gymgo.com or use the contact form. We handle the carrier claim and ship replacement parts or a replacement unit — you never fight the freight company.
Important: signing the delivery receipt clean — without noting damage — makes freight claims very difficult to recover. When in doubt, write it down and take the photo.
International shipping
We ship worldwide. Machines over ~150 lb travel by ocean freight in custom wooden crates built in-house; smaller items go door-to-door by international courier with duties collected up front.
- Standard quotes are door-to-port: we quote delivery to the largest ocean port in your country, with insurance and origin charges included. Fees after arrival — customs duties, taxes, port charges and inland transport — are the buyer's responsibility.
- EXW available: prefer to control the whole chain? Buy EXW and your freight forwarder collects the crated equipment at our California warehouse.
- Working with a freight forwarder: we're happy to coordinate directly with your forwarder — crate dimensions, weights and commercial invoices supplied on request.
- Voltage: powered cardio is built for 110–120V; step-down transformers can be supplied for 220–240V markets. Ask before ordering.
- Warranty abroad is parts-only with remote technician support — details on the warranty page.

Warehouse pickup
Local to the San Francisco Bay Area? Pick up free of charge at our warehouse —2450 Industrial Pkwy, Hayward, CA 94545. Choose pickup at checkout and we'll call when your order is staged. We load your truck or trailer with a forklift; bring straps and a vehicle rated for the weight (most commercial cardio runs 300–450 lb crated). Within our local delivery radius we can often deliver on our own trucks as well — ask for a quote.
Tracking your order
You'll receive tracking by email within 24 hours of shipment: carrier and PRO number for freight, courier tracking for parcels, and the installer's contact information for assembly-level deliveries. Freight carriers also call to book your delivery window — keep your phone handy, because missed appointments can incur redelivery or storage fees.
Shipping FAQ
How much does freight shipping cost?
It depends on the machine's weight, your ZIP code and the service level. Curbside on a single cardio machine to the lower 48 commonly runs a few hundred dollars; exact pricing is quoted at checkout or by request. A number of items in the catalog ship free — look for the free-shipping badge.
Can you deliver upstairs or to a basement?
Yes — that's the room-of-choice and full-install levels. We'll need step counts, door widths and photos of the path in advance so the right crew and equipment show up.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
For freight, yes — an adult must receive, inspect and sign. The carrier schedules a window with you in advance. Parcels follow the courier's normal rules.
What if my delivery is late?
Contact us and we'll chase the carrier the same day. Transit estimates are not guaranteed dates, but we track every freight shipment and intervene when one stalls.
Do machines arrive assembled?
Many remanufactured machines ship mostly assembled with arms or consoles removed for crating; new equipment ships in factory cartons. Each product page notes how the item ships, and assembly service is available at the full-install level.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada?
Yes. Major population areas quote normally; remote ZIP and postal codes may need a custom freight quote before we can confirm. Canadian shipments incur brokerage and taxes at the border.
